AC EMU SERVICES TO SHUTTLE IN BETWEEN SEALDAH & RANAGHAT

Kolkata, August 07th, 2025.Sealdah Division is all set to unfold a very special gift for the esteemed commuters of Kolkata and Suburban Main Section. The AC EMU service in between Sealdah and Ranaghat is expected to become an integral part of Suburban transportation system, making train journey safe, comfortable and hassle free. The City of Joy is elated to have this magnificent gift from the Sealdah Division.

The much awaited *Air Conditioned EMU train will leave Ranaghat in the morning pick hour at 8:29 hrs. to reach Sealdah at 10:10 hrs. The UP AC local will leave Sealdah at 18:50 hrs to reach Ranagahat at 20:32 hrs to cater to the evening rush. The train will stop at Chakdah, Kalyani, Kanchrapara, Naihati, Barrackpore, Khardah, Sodepur, Dumdum and Bidhannagar enroute*.

The AC EMU service will commence its commercial run before 15th August and of course it’s going to be a fitting tribute for Kolkata on the eve of Independence Day, symbolizing Sealdah Division’s unflinching commitment to the safety, security, modernization and passenger welfare. The AC Rake, loaded with state-of-the-art features, will run smoothly to provide our daily commuters a welcome respite from scorching heat and overcrowding.
